Who We Are
MainMicro is a fast-growing IT reseller serving corporate, OEM, and SLED customers across the US and Canadian markets. Backed by strategic partnerships with the industry's leading manufacturers — Dell, HP, Lenovo, Cisco, and more — we empower IT Leaders with expert advice and scalable solutions.
We are more than a reseller. We are a trusted partner that gives our clients the strategic edge required to drive real business growth, and we hold ourselves to the same standard internally: real talk, bold thinking, and success only ever built together.
This Role
We are looking for a sharp, relentless Talent Acquisition Specialist to find, engage, and land the people who will carry MainMicro's momentum forward. This is the person standing at the front door of our growth — the one who spots talent before the competition does, moves fast without cutting corners, and makes every candidate feel the confidence and care that define who we are.
You will own the full recruiting cycle across sales, operations, and support functions, partnering closely with hiring managers and HR to build pipelines that don't just fill seats — they raise the bar. If you thrive on the hunt, love the close, and take pride in building a team that wins, this is your seat at the table.
Key Things Needed in This Role
- A track record of full-cycle recruiting that consistently delivers quality hires, not just fast ones.
- A natural hunter — someone who sources passive talent and builds relationships before a role even opens.
- Comfort with a fast-paced, evolving environment; you build the pipeline while filling the role.
- Strong interpersonal instincts and the credibility to advise hiring managers, not just take orders from them.
- A real curiosity about the IT channel and what makes great sales and technical talent tick.
Key Responsibilities
Full-Cycle Recruiting
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process — sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing — for roles across sales, operations, and corporate functions.
- Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, set hiring criteria, and build a recruiting strategy for each search.
- Deliver a candidate experience that reflects MainMicro's standards: clear, direct, and respectful at every step.
Sourcing & Pipeline Development
- Proactively source active and passive candidates through LinkedIn, referrals, niche IT/tech networks, and creative channels.
- Build and maintain a strong, ready-to-activate talent pipeline for recurring and hard-to-fill roles.
- Track and report on pipeline health, time-to-fill, and source effectiveness using data to sharpen the strategy.
Employer Brand & Candidate Experience
- Represent MainMicro's culture and brand authentically.
- Gather feedback from candidates and hiring managers to continuously refine the recruiting process.
- Collaborate with HR on employer branding initiatives, job postings, and outreach campaigns.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Partner with the Sales Enablement and HR teams to align hiring with onboarding and long-term development plans.
- Maintain accurate candidate and requisition data in the ATS (Applicant Tracking System).
- Provide hiring managers and leadership with regular pipeline and hiring-metric updates.
Experience & Profile
- Experience in a full-cycle recruiting, talent acquisition, or corporate sourcing role.
- Demonstrated ability to source and close passive candidates, not just process inbound applicants.
- Comfortable using an ATS and other recruiting/sourcing technology; experience with AI-powered sourcing tools is a plus.
- Highly organized, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to advise and influence hiring managers.
- A solid understanding of recruiting metrics and what drives them (time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, pipeline conversion).
Nice to Have
- Experience recruiting for technical sales roles within the IT channel, hardware, software, or cloud solutions space.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter
- Bilingual (French/English) — a strong asset given our Quebec-based team and cross-border client base.
What You Get
- RRSP — 5% MATCH: We match your RRSP contributions up to 5% of your base salary. Invest in your future and we'll invest alongside you.
- HEALTH & WELLNESS: Comprehensive health and dental coverage for you and your family. Annual gym reimbursement — memberships, classes, or approved wellness expenses.
- TIME OFF: 20 days PTO plus all US and Canadian statutory holidays — both markets observed.
- GROWTH & DEVELOPMENT: Annual L&D budget for courses, certifications, or training you choose — not a catalogue. Mentorship and career development built into your onboarding. One paid volunteer day each year.
